Testimony: Thank you, Sophie, for the great lesson last week. That lesson really helped me know where I needed to be on the court, so I could be there ready for my shot. I played singles yesterday and won!! (1,4) I felt like I knew where to move and was easily in position for the next shot. I feel like I played so much better. The lesson helped so much!

I didn’t accompany my son to tennis this week. I hope you have had the baby and all is well. He loved his months of tennis. It has been an exceptional program and really a high for the week. I don’t think he missed one….

Just back from the NC/SC workshop at Brookstone yesterday and it was absolutely great. Both Adam Thomson and Sophie Woorons-Johnston did a really superb job and the pro's attending were really treated to some of the best info on current/modern tennis available. They certainly made the Southern Division look good. When do I get to stop learning?

There is so much I have to learn about coaching...Thank goodness im learning from one of the most knowledgable coaches in the world (that would be you)! Which pattern do you want me to teach or do you teach the most?

I just wanted to let you know that my daughter and I love Tennis. This is the 1^st sport that I have enjoyed doing for myself. It has become an addiction and we can not wait until the next time to play or take lessons. You have made a huge impact on her and for the first time she has said that she has found what she loves to do. I am so excited that we have a passion together. My husband has even gotten into it. We took lessons while we where at Wild Dunes from your friends facility and had a great time. Thanks for the referral while we were on vacation. Lessons with you and your father are GREAT!!!!! I think she will live out there with you (HA HA). I can’t wait until the next lesson and practice.

Thanks. I thlnk that is an awesome photo! I have it in my office, and when people ask me who you are, I say, Oh, that is just my tennis coach, don't you want to come and join us at Brookstone. I am so happy you came to Brookstone! I would not be playing had it not been for you. I spent 20 years running marathons, and did not have an ounce of fun! The clubhouse is awesome!

The more time I spend with you on lessons, the more I am impressed at your ability to play and teach tennis! What you do, you do extremely well. You can idenify my problem, and you have a cure on how to fix it! Just wanted you to know, your efforts have not gone unnoticed and are much appreciated. My forehand today at practice I felt was much inproved, my topspin backhand is improving, and after 35 years of taking the backhand out of the air wrong I can begin to correct that! I hope you realize what a positive impact you have made on our girls just by being the positive role model you are. Their previous coach had left such a negative impression on them that one had all but quit tennis and the other was at the very least dis-enchated with her game. Now one can go to college feeling good about her years in tennis and feeling comfortable with her game and looks forward to many more years of playing a game she loves. While the other has gone from being a quiet shy little girl who was never good enough to a near fanatic! They have both fallen in love with the game. They may never be pro's, but you have given them a game they love and can enjoy their whole lives, and from a parents stand point, you just can't ask for more for your child! I only wish we had found you 10 years ago! Just wanted to let you know we appreciate you!
